We help you identify the right source of funding at the right stage of your project, from pre-seed funding to Series A.

The University of Zurich also offers some unique funding opportunities:

TDA Translational Grants

  • Up to 50'000 CHF
  • To initiate a critical translational step 
  • Grant can include use of infrastructure and project management support
  • The grant supports for example:
    • Expert advice (eg regulatory, manufacturing, etc.)
    • Key preclinical proof-of-concept experiments (eg on animal model)
    • Outsourcing of some early safety testing or early manufacturing steps
    • Identification and validation of a PD marker and assay
    • First human data (eg cell culture or tissue) to complement animal data

BioEntrepreneur Fellowships

  • 150’000 CHF for a period of 18 months
  • For post-docs and students about to complete their PhD in Life Science
  • Fellows are free to decide on how to spend the money (eg own or co-worker salary, consumables)
